Dr. Csapó András graduated from the Faculty of Law of Eötvös Loránd University in 2001, and at the same time completed a degree in Business Communication at Westchester Community College (New York, USA). Afterwards, he gained experience in various law firms (Dezső, Réti & Antall LANDWELL Law Firm, Dezső & Partners Law Firm, Andrékó LINKLATERS), and since 2012 he has been a senior lawyer and head of the real estate team at Gide Loyrette Nouel Budapest. He has been the Legal Director of AXA Bank Europe SA Hungary branch from 2013, and a member of the Board of Directors from 2014. From 2015, he has been the Managing Director of Legal and Corporate Governance of MKB Bank Zrt., from 2016 the Deputy Chief Operating Officer and Chief Legal Officer, from 2017 the Deputy Executive Director for Legal, Governance and Priority Issues, and member of the Board of Directors, from 2019 the Deputy CEO for Legal, Corporate, Group Governance and Priority Issues and member of the Board of Directors. In the first half of 2021, he was the Deputy CEO for Legal and Group Governance and member of the Supervisory Board of Magyar Bankholding Zrt.
He participated in the PWC-Landwell training programme in 2006 and completed the Linklaters Managing Associate trainings in 2008-2009. He has taught at the Institute of Advanced Engineering Training of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and at the WIFI Hungary Adult Education Institute, founded by the Austrian Chamber of Commerce.
